20 Questions Book Tag

Hey y’all! I found this book tag over at Kira Jeanette Reading Through the Night and it looked like a fun tag to do! Here is the 20 Questions Book Tag!

1. How many books are too many for a series?

2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?

Wait…. are there people who don’t enjoy cliff hangers!? hahaha I don’t want a whole series to end on a cliff hanger, but every other time I live for them.

3. Hardcover or paperback?

I know I’m weird with this one, but paperback. I love the floppiness and I bring my books too many places to want to carry around a big hard cover book all day.

4. Favourite book?

How am I supposed to pick just one!? I think I have to say Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.

5. Least favourite book?

Hmmm… this is hard. I don’t know if I have a least favorite, but I really disliked The Magicians by Lev Grossman.

6. Love triangles yes or no?

Yes. I love them.

7. The most recent book you couldn’t finish?

It’s very rare for me to not finish a book… I think it was The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi which was so surprising to me because on paper I should have loved it.

8. A book you’re currently reading?

Realm Breaker by Victoria Aveyard

9. Last book you recommended to someone?

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout to my friend Allison.

10.  Oldest book you’ve read by publication date?

Excluding Shakespeare, I think it is Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. October 30th, 1811.

11. Newest book you’ve read by publication date?

The Ivies by Alexa Donne. It comes out May 25th, 2021!

12. Favourite author?

Ken Follett and Meg Cabot.

13. Buying books or borrowing books?

Both, but I do like owning them.

14. A book you dislike that everyone seems to love?

The Witching Hour by Anne Rice. What a drudge.

15. Bookmarks or dog ears?

BOOKMARKS ONLY!

16. A book you can always reread?

Harry Potter.

17. Can you read while listening to music?

I can read while doing pretty much anything hahaha

18.  One P.O.V. or multiple?

I love multiple POVs. I live for the story layering possibilities and when its done well *chef’s kiss*

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

Usually over multiple days, but I have definitely read a few in one sitting.
