Happy October everyone! This is my favorite month, and yes, I am a basic bitch. I got my pumpkin cream cold brew the first day they were released, it was still 80 degrees, and I’m not even going to pretend to be ashamed. I found this tag over at Kristin Kraves Books and it was created by The Book Pusher on YouTube.
Pumpkin Spice Latte– a book everyone likes to hate on but is delicious

Having just re-read this it’s super clear in my mind. Everyone loves to hate on the Twilight series, but let’s be honest. We all live for it.
“Fall is my favorite season” – a cliché you can’t get enough of
The chosen one. And love triangles.
Sweater Weather to T-Shirt Weather – a book you thought was one thing but was completely different by the end

I liked A Court of Thorns and Roses, but this book completely threw me for a loop with where the story and relationships went. So unexpected and AMAZING.
“Spoops” – do you have a spooky book on your tbr?

This book has been on my TBR for SO LONG. I loved the first book so much and it is a perfect fall spooky read.
Tarot Reading – a five-star prediction

I am so unbelievably excited for this book. I love this series and Alice Hoffman’s writing, and The Rules of Magic is one of my favorite books of all time so I’m predicting that Magic Lessons will be just as good.
Sephora Sage + Crystal Set – a book that meant well but missed the mark by a landslide

The concept of this book was so cool and there were some really awesome moments, but overall it just didn’t hit the mark. Everything about it was vague and boring which was super disappointing.
I tag:
Just Reading Jess, Love for Words, The Clumsy Bibliovert, and anyone else who got a pumpkin spiced latte before fall technically started 🙂
Okay, I’m going to be honest: I love that you opened with Twilight. I haven’t read that book since I was probably a freshman in high school, but I was just thinking earlier today that maybe I should give it another chance. I’m taking this post as a sign.
Also, yes! Really excited that Magic Lessons is almost out in the world, too. It’s been such a great series, and I can’t wait to sink into this next chapter.

YAY! Twilight wasn’t as good as I remember it being the first time I read it, but a lot of it still holds up and the sense of nostalgia can’t be beat 🙂

I completely agree about Twilight. We should all just be honest and admit we love it😁 Happy reading!
