2017 Bookish Overview

Happy New Year everyone! Looking back, 2017 was a great year and I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store!  Thanks to everyone who made this year so special ❤


I started Reading in the Wings this year, and I have been loving it.  The blogging community is incredible, and I can’t thank everyone enough for all of their support!  My blogging has definitely had a positive impact on my reading experience, and it has opened me up to so many more books that I wouldn’t have found without it.  So without further ado, here is my 2017 Bookish Overview!

Goodreads Challenge: COMPLETE

My goal for this year was to read 35 book, and I read 45. Nailed it.

Classics Club Challenge: 2/50

I have read 2 of 50 classics from my list, but I still have about 4.5 years to finish this challenge.  I plan to make a lot more headway on this in 2018.  Check out my list here!

So here is to an AMAZING year! 2018, here we come!

  1. Ooh! You have so many good books here! I love that you featured Jane Austen and Nancy Drew! I haven’t read a Nancy Drew in awhile, but I still play the PC games!


      1. I know! I’m starting to despair of ever seeing the Salem one! Thankfully, I still have many of the others left so at least I can something to tide me over! I’m in the middle of Ransom of the Seven Ships right now.


      2. I’ve played Ghost Dogs, but not the other. I think Shadow at the Water’s Edge and Secret of the Old Clock might be my favorites, but it’s hard to choose!
